CPM SARL the Exclusive sole Agent for Directory SOUK EL ARAB, with Head Quarters in LEBANON is the publisher of the site www.soukelarab.com and all its translated versions (hereinafter referred to as the "Souk El Arab Directory Site").
This site comprises a range of services including the SOUK EL ARAB Directory online (hereinafter referred to as the "Directory"), the SOUK EL ARAB Business Classifieds, the SOUK EL ARAB Procurement and the Business Resources.( the last three will soon be available)
The User acknowledges and agrees to the Conditions for the Use of the Souk El Arab Directory (hereinafter referred to as the "Directory") and services associated therewith as set forth here below:

I.Introduction

CPM SARL and Souk El Arab recognize the importance that must be given to the security of private data.
In order to shield as effectively as possible the information concerning an identified or identifiable individual registered on the Souk El Arab Site, CPM SARL takes all the required procedures to apply a firm policy on the protection of private data, mainly high security standards for the products and services on offer directly on the Souk El Arab Site.
Nevertheless, CPM SARL policy on the security of private data does not apply: to sites, independent of the Souk El Arab Site, that have set up a hypertext link or a search block guiding Users to other services;
• To sites, independent of the Souk El Arab Site, accessible via a hypertext link;
• To partner sites of the Souk El Arab Site having incorporated one of the services into their sites (co-branding);
• To partner sites of the Souk El Arab Site accessibly via integration into one of the services on offer (co-branded sites);
• To the sites of CPM SARL commercial partners.
CPM SARL thus advises its Users to check with the policies on the protection of private data applied by these different sites.

II.DECLARATION TO THE LEBANESE NATIONAL COMMISSION ON COMPUTING AND Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

In accordance with the law on computing and ICT, the processing of personal data on the Souk El Arab Site has been declared to the LNCAC under the registration number 1004190 & 102499 & 106061 & 106244.

III. COMPILATION OF PRIVATE DATA

When navigating on the Souk El Arab Site, certain private data is produced automatically. This electronic identification data includes:
Connection data: the IP of the User's computer, the type and version of navigation software, the URL address visited, the version consulted, etc.;
Data on use: keywords entered, the search(s) carried out, the sector(s), field(s) and heading(s) selected, data collected when using the Call Button (such as the Ad responded to or the time and duration of the call), the data created when attempting to place an order if the Customer has entered a telephone number, etc.
Other private data may be forwarded willingly by the User to CPM SARL , notably:
• Data entered into the online forms.
• Data entered when sending a page to a friend.
• Data collected when using the Call Button.
• Data relating to an order placed in the Shop.(when available)
• Bank details provided for an online purchase.(when available)
• Data featuring on an online estimate request.(when available)
• Data entered so as to receive an alert.
• Data forwarded during online surveys, etc..

IV. USE OF CONFIDENTIAL DATA

CPM SARL hereby undertakes to deal with the confidential data it collects on the Souk El Arab Site for the following purposes only:

1. The overall performance of the Souk El Arab Site;
2. The execution of services for registered or subscribing Users;
3. The compilation and forwarding of administrative information;
4. The collation of statistics on traffic, use and surveys;
5. The involvement in games or tests;
6. The acceptance of and reply to suggestions or needs for information;
7. The association of exchanges of offers;
8. The protection of information transfer;
9. The organization of canvassing or marketing operations, particularly to inform the User of offers relating to the goods and/or services of the Souk El Arab Site;
etc.

V. PERIOD OF STORAGE OF DATA

CPM SARL stores personal data for:
Three (3) years for connection data (for purely statistical purposes);
For one (1) year for data provided freely following the last connection by the User to the Souk El Arab Site, or when the User has not responded to two consecutive requests;
The period of the registration for a registered or subscribing User, extended by a period of ten (10) working days from the request to delete the registration.
Bank details (credit card number and cipher) are destroyed as soon as the order has been delivered or rejected.

VI. USER'S RIGHT OF ADMISSION, MODIFICATION AND DELETION.

Users of the Souk El Arab Site who have voluntarily provided private data may exercise free of charge their rights of access, rectification and deletion on addressing a request to CPM SARL.
Registered or subscribing Users shall have the right of access online to all of their personal data that has been collected.
At any moment, they are able to access and rectify themselves the information they have provided on registration or subscription through My Account. (When available)
To do so, they must click on "Update my profile". They may also delete data by clicking on "Unsubscribe".
In other cases, Users may exercise free of charge their rights of access, rectification and deletion on addressing a request to CPM SARL specifying the nature of the request:

CPM SARL strives to rectify any private data in its possession that it learns to be imprecise or deficient within five days (5) of notification.

VII. USER'S RIGHT OF PROTESTATION

Users of the Souk El Arab Site has the right to protest to their private data being processed.
Should Users receive mail, electronic or not, that they do not wish to receive, they may:

1. Request to receive no further messages by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link provided to this end.

VIII. COOKIES

VIII.1 Configuration of cookies
Users may desire to acknowledge or decline cookies by modifying the parameters of their navigators.
They may arrange their navigators so that they may reject all cookies or be warned before accepting cookies.
Should they choose not to accept such cookies, their navigation on the Souk El Arab Site may be slower and of lower quality; this may obstruct certain functions.

VIII.2 Temporary cookies stored by Souk El Arab
The Souk El Arab server only stores provisional cookies on the computer of the registered User.
These cookies register a number generated internally and at random, thus making it possible, during a session, to identify the registered Users and the information relating to their navigation, the pages they have consulted and the date and time of the consultation.
These temporary cookies are deleted from the Users' hard disks as soon as the navigator is closed.
The data featuring in the cookies are rendered anonymous, and then a copy thereof is stored on the Souk El Arab server.
These cookies are indispensable for the provision of the requested services, as they permit the User to access all the functionalities available on the Souk El Arab Site.
Moreover, they allow CPM SARL to develop its range of products and services by making it possible to recognize, for example, the most often visited pages.

IX. RIGTHS OF COMPANIES ON THE COMPLIMENTARY LISTING IN THE DIRECTORY

A company whose details are on the free listing in the Directory has the right to access, to correct and to erase such details. It may also object to the insertion of its particulars in the Directory.
In all such cases, a representative of the company must make its wishes known to CPM SARL, specifying the nature of the demand by;

CPM SARL strives to respond to any request with five (5) days.

CPM SARL does not trade, lease or promote the private data it collects on the Souk El Arab Site.
CPM SARL reserves the right to divulge the private data it collects in accordance with the law.
CPM SARL may forward certain private data to reliable subcontractors or partners in order to provide certain functionalities of the Souk El Arab Site.
CPM SARL may forward to its commercial partners requests for information relating to the insertion of an Ad in the Directory.
In such cases, the private data forwarded by the Users of the Souk El Arab Site shall be processed in order to respond to the request for information.
This process shall not exclude the presentation of additional new proposals, new products and/or new services.

XI. CO-BRANDING

When CPM SARL incorporates and posts the contents of the sites of selected partners so as to offer products and services pertinent to the visitors to the Souk El Arab Site as part of the Business Resources service, the partners' servers may collect private data when using the Business Resources.
When a partner incorporates and posts on the pages of its Internet site the contents of the Directory as part of a co-branding operation, the partner's server may collect private data when using the co-branded pages.
In neither of these cases does CPM SARL’s private data protection policy apply.

XII. SAFETY MEASURES OF PRIVATE DATA

CPM SARL uses numerous types of technology to make certain the security and privacy of the private data recorded on its servers.
All data relating to its Users is processed on servers protected against external invasion by firewalls.
Severe rules on monitoring access are applied so as to put a stop to illegal access, the loss, improper use or alteration of the private data stored.
in addition, certain private data is only transmitted throughout protected sessions. Such sessions currently use the SSL standard.
CPM SARL ensures that only its personnel requiring certain information to provide the service requested by the User may achieve access to its Users' private data.

XIII. Jurisdiction

In the event of key complexity or disagreement between the User and CPM SARL, the Parties hereto hereby agree to seek a friendly resolution.
Should this fail, any such dispute shall be submitted to the Lebanese Commercial Court.
The present Conditions of Use shall be subject to Lebanese law.
Should the present Conditions of Use be translated, the English version shall prevail over all others.
